Getting Started
Yes, completely free. No watermarks, no hidden fees, no premium tiers. We believe everyone should have access to compliant passport photos.
We support India, USA, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, China, Australia, and Brazil. Each country includes multiple document types: passports, visas, national IDs, and driving licenses.
Our specifications come from official government guidelines. We validate face size, position, background color, and other requirements. Final acceptance is at the discretion of the issuing authority.
Technical
JPEG and PNG files up to 10MB. Higher resolution photos produce better results. Output is always a 300 DPI JPEG suitable for professional printing.
We use MediaPipe for face detection with 468 facial landmarks, neural networks for background removal, and Pillow for precise cropping and resizing to government specifications.
The compliance report shows exactly what failed—head tilt, expression, glasses, etc. Upload a new photo addressing those issues. There are no limits on attempts.
Yes. After processing, choose single photo or a 4x6 inch sheet with 4 or 6 copies arranged for standard photo paper available at any photo kiosk.
Privacy & Security
All photos auto-delete 30 minutes after download. We never store, share, or use photos beyond immediate processing. No biometric data is retained.
Email sign-in (magic link) is required only for downloading. This prevents abuse while preserving privacy. We only access your email address—no passwords needed.
Photo Requirements
Most countries prohibit glasses: USA (since 2016), UK (since 2024), Canada. Some countries like Japan still allow clear prescription glasses. Our system warns you based on your document type.
It varies by country. USA requires white. UK and Australia require light grey—white is prohibited. France allows grey or blue. Our AI applies the correct color automatically.
Most countries permit religious headwear worn daily, provided your full face is visible from chin to forehead and both cheeks. The headwear must not cast shadows on your face.
